What is Transcend Services? 

Transcend Services is the first-ever app launch in Singapore to provide a one-stop platform for independent living and afterlife pre-planning.

Transcend Services registered with SingPass

Transcend Services is registered and established in Singapore. We are also registered with SingPass access, allowing our users to log in their account via trusted digital identity for convenient and secure access.

 

What are the types of packages provided by Transcend Services?

1. 3-day Funeral Package $7,000

2. App Membership $3,000

3. Full package $7,800 (for both funeral and app)

What are Transcend's lifestyle services?

Transcend's lifestyle services currently includes discounts for TCM, fengshui consultation, massages, prayer (on behalf) and more. We also provide free headshot photography services for all members who bought a package with us. We will also continue to provide more exclusive deals and benefits for our valued members in future.

What happens if there is no movement from the member after pre-set timing?

Next-of-kin (NOK) will be alerted via app notification and an email which includes a GPS location link on Google Maps.

What happens if the member needs immediate help?

Member can press the EMERGENCY button on the App to request for critical HELP immediately. The next-of-kin (NOK) will then be alerted and able to respond promptly.

How do I download Transcend App?

Steps to follow (for Android users)

  1. Go to https://www.transcend.sg/
  2. Go to the bottom of the homepage and click on ''Download''.
  3. The apk file will be downloaded automatically and install the application.
  4. Your phone may conduct security checks (depends on individual setting) and click on ''open'' to access the App.
  5. Follow the given instructions and allow access to use our functions.
  6. Once done, you will be directed to Transcend home page.
  7. Sign up for a free account and you are good to go!

* You need not repeat the above steps for NEW UPDATES. The Transcend App will prompt you to update to the newer version when it is available.

Can I create an account with the Transcend App?

It is free to create an account and sign up as a member with us to start enjoying benefits. By purchasing our app or full package, you will enjoy all the benefits of the App with exclusive features. (Eg. Emergency Button, Non-Movement Alert, upload confidential documents, pictures etc.)

Is there any Chat Room for members?

Yes, it is under development. We will update once it is available.

Is it safe to upload confidential documents to the Cloud Storage?

Yes. Our cloud storage protects against security risks by keeping all of your information safely off-site in an encrypted format.

What security measure does Transcend Services provide?

Our App is SingPass protected so each user can log in via trusted digital identity for both convenient and secure access.

What happens to my money after I purchased a package from Transcend Services?

Payment received will be set aside until you utilise the funeral package. Meanwhile, you can engage us by logging into our App daily to earn credits/ Transcend coins, and participate our activities at your convenience.

What is the validity of the price of your Funeral Package?

Transcend Services will review the pricing on a quarterly basis. Please contact our Sales @ 80803921 for the latest updates.

What happens to my existing funeral package if Transcend Services is to cease its operations one day?

Transcend Services will make all necessary arrangements with our funeral partners to ensure that your package will be honoured and executed accordingly.

Otherwise, the maximum aggregate liability of Transcend Services to the Purchaser, shall not exceed the contract's purchase price. The refund amount will then be calculated and advised by Transcend Services.

What happens if the Member passes away during the period when the Installment Payment is not fully settled?

If a member passes away before full settlement of the package, Transcend Services will work with the member’s loved ones to make good any outstanding amounts. If this is not possible for any reasons, Transcend Services will assess each case on its own merits in order to provide the member with a dignified send-off.

What happens if the member defaults the Installment Payment? Is the Sales Contract still valid?

It is not advisable to terminate the Sales Contract when it is still in force. Transcend Services will assess the situation on a case-by-case basis and determine the best possible solution for both parties.

If the Sales Contract is terminated, no refund will be payable to the member.


Why should I buy the funeral package now?

By purchasing a funeral package today, you can better manage your own finances to mitigate inflationary cost increases, for peace of mind. Also, your pre-arrangements will reduce the stress and burden of your loved ones when the time comes.

What if I prefer to have more than a 3-day funeral service or to customise my existing package?

You can discuss and customise the details with our Funeral Consultant. Please note that you may be required to top-up for additional items or services that are not included in our basic package.

What do I do when a loved one passes?

The first step is to contact us at 80803921 immediately. Our customer care representatives will advise you on the next steps to take and arrange our Funeral Director to liaise with you promptly.

What decisions do I have to make for the funeral arrangements?

You will need to decide:

  1. The location of the funeral wake
  2. The duration of the funeral wake
  3. Whether to arrange for a burial or cremation

How much does a funeral typically cost in Singapore?

The average cost for a 3 days basic funeral service in Singapore today varies from S$7,000 to S$12000 and depends on the type of funeral religion involved (For E.g. Buddhist, Christian, free thinker etc.). Transcend Services values transparent pricing, giving our members an upfront preview and understanding of the various services and arrangement provided in our package.

Can I Personalise The Service To Fit My Family Tradition?
